Are Chartered Flights Becoming The New Limousine?
05-18-2008
It’s graduation time yet again accross the US and graduating high school and college students are looking to make a grand entrance into the next phase of their lives. In years past a chauffered limo to take a group of friends to an after grad event has been a symbol of all things cool.

Online discussions are heating up on Facebook and MySpace and on other social media sites about graduating students plans for their big bash. If you read a few of those messages you quickly realise that a simple limo is old news and today a super stretch or custom limo, such as the hummer limo, are more saught after. I’ve noticed a new hot item on some discussion forums, the chartered flight.
New Flight Charters for example offers a private jet or turboprop plane, on short notice, to fly a group of Los Angeles grads to Las Vegas for about 3,300 dollars or from Orlando Florida to the Bahamas for about 3,350. Short notice, a variety of Jet types, a private pilot and crew… are chartered flights vying to become the new grad night limo ride?
Hotels and attractions in major locations, like Las Vegas, sure hope so. Being able to draw visitors from further away brings more money into the area and graduating students are happy not to sit in a car for an extended period of time to get to the extra special after grad location.
For a real taste of the highlife some flight charters team up with limousine services to ferry customers to and from their private jet…. all for under 5,000.00. What do you think, have chartered flights come down in price enough for you to give them another thought for your next special event?
If so, do your homework on private jet charter pricing, you might be pleasantly surprised. I was.
