What? You Wan’t A Bigger Rack ?!? Dear Wife…
Tuesday, January 20, 2009 18:24Ok, my wife brought up the dreaded subject of wanting to get a bigger rack. I tried to convince her that her rack was cute and well rounded creating the perfect ambiance but she wanted to hear none of it. Quote “There’s something unsatisfying in seeing a bigger rack when I visit the neighbors, I want some work done for me too honey, ya know?”. Yes dear.
So I logged onto the net and set about finding out how much getting a bigger rack for my wife would cost. Searches for “big racks” and “Price check on a bigger rack for my wife” proved quite distracting though I did see some excellent craftsmanship for sure. I finally landed on Wine Racks from a site called the vine store and thought “finally I’m getting somewhere”… but then it happened to me too. Every rack I saw made me want more rack, bigger… make it stop!
#1 – It’s decided, our small but humble rack is getting an upgrade.

Small, maintenance free, replaceable when it causes problems. Buh bye!
#2 – Then I found this, perfect for some outdoor fun.

I thought great! I could have some outdoor fun with this rack. Heck I could even get it wet and have some fun in the pool with it. Smooth, but my wife said no. Ok…
#3 – A rack with more curves.

And again I get excited, I love curves as much as the next guy! No…
#4 – A rack with more class.

With curves not being a good selling point with my wife I tried a classier approach. This one keeps things in the spotlight. Hon, How about…? No!
#5 – It’s time to consider fullness I suppose.

Functional, beautiful and well, much more capable of being filled. This rack caught my eye because of how much fun it would be to fill. Hon, can we…? Not my style!
#6 – A rack built for entertaining.

YES! A rack built for entertaining with. We could both enjoy the ambiance, the smells, the bitter sweet taste and better yet we could invite friends over! Hon ? Absolutely not! Arrrghhh. Next…
#7 – Yes, a rack more pleasing than the neighbors!

Before I could say anything my wife jumped up and said THAT’S IT! I want all of it! Please honey, I want it. Feeling strangely aroused at her new found energetic response I asked, why this rack? My wife hugged me and said “because it’s long, strong, secure, built for group fun and best of all – we can entertain under the neighbors house! They don’t need to know just how big my rack is do they?”
I guess my question to you would be, do you like my wife’s rack?
