Santa Came Early – Lakers and Celtics Tickets!
Someone loves me! X-mas day Sports Tickets from Ticket Feeder Baby!
Christmas Day 2008, Lakers vs Celtics – it’s going to be an awesome game at the Staples Center down here in LA! If anyone else who happens to wander past this excitedly posted article will be there let me know, I’d love to meet a fellow blogger on xmas day… in the Staples Center of all places, drinks on me!
I actually thought my wife was just pulling my chain when she first asked me if I’d like to go. I make it a point to attend a few sporting events every year including a 49′ers game and a Chargers game as well as a few hockey games. None of those are on Christmas day though, I wouldn’t have even looked into getting these if she didn’t mention it.
Kobe’s still pouring it on, he got 26 points tonight and Gasol was hot too despite having strep throat. The Lakers downed the Hornets as if in easy mode so it should be a great xmas game too. The lakers are the best in the west so far with a 23-5 record and the Boston Celtics are the best in the east with a 27-2 record so something’s going to give.
I’ll see if I can get a few pictures of the Lakers girls for you, I’m sure they’ll be dressed up in some nice xmas outfits. There’s also only 27 days left to vote in the AllStars ballot too so head on over and give a few Lakers two thumbs up will you? All Star Voting ends in less than a month and they have some crazy prizes to give away including a chance to appear in NBA2K10!
This should make for a great rematch game from last years finals too. The regular season so far feels like a warmup for that rematch and we’ll get a little taste of it on Christmas day, is like good for basketball fans or what? It’s already been 6 months since the Celtics trounced the Lakers 131-92 for the title but I have a strong feeling Kobe and crew will bring their A-game for this matchup.
I can’t believe that as I write this there are still a few tickets left to the game, if you’re going to attend just one game this year and your wife (or husband ladies) is as supportive of sports as mine you’ve GOT to snap up your tickets asap. Whoever wins this game will have a little bit of extra confidence down the stretch and whoever loses will get to savor that sour taste (and hopefully build up that determination) for the rest of the season.
Thank you Santa, you can cross off everything else on my list now!
update: AWESOME game, Lakers win 92-83. Bryant and Gasol played well and Lamar Odom got some decent playing time too. The message has been sent, the Lakers are for real this year… even against the defending champs.
